Don't ask about the title of this post. These things just reminded me of beans, and I guess they're bowls, and I painted them, so that's that.

I just sanded them and painted and varnished. I don't know, they aren't anything miraculous, but I kinda liked the shape and wanted to make something out of nothing.

Hope you like

These are cute. They do kinda look like pea pods. Or chiles, since you painted them red and yellow.

Sometimes the "simple" things turn out the best ... I love when people see the potential some items have.  I've seen similar bowls at the Goodwill tons of times and only saw "old" - you, on the other hand, saw a great shape and totally updated it!  Very nice!

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

I love these.  I never even thought of painting my old wooden things to better match my more modern taste.  I think a trip to Goodwill is in order to look for some yummy things to paint.  Great job.

The combination of bright white with such vibrant colors made plain bowls into something spectacular and arty. Great job!
