Here is my entry for the challenge.  I really wanted to participate, but I'm poor, so I needed to find a way to make a lamp without spending a lot on materials.  So, my lamp is made from 20 cans of coca cola a thrift store lamp shade, jump rings, and of course a lamp kit.  It actually lays a lot flatter than in the pictures.

haha sheer luck.  I used a can opener to cut open the top and bottom, then used some crappy scissors to cut a line up the side.  after flattening them out, i just used a cup to trace a circle on the back and cut them out carefully.  I'm still amazed I didn't cut myself
