Well, I guess I'm first  Grin

Here are the squares that I got from ckchan! The top right one is really neat. The blue rings are actually really textured... I think that one is my favorite Smiley

These are great! ... sorry the pictures aren't. It's rainy here with no nice sunlight.  Undecided

Thanks!!

I'm so glad you like them.  It's been a while since I've done granny squares so I'm sorry if they are a bit rough.

I love the pale blue lacy looking square  Smiley I'm guessing your colours are green and blue Tygir?  Cheesy

I'm struggling with my 4th square, I know it sounds mad but I've just bought the 200 crochet blocks book and obviously here in the UK we have a UK terminology version and I'm really struggling with the patterns because I'm used to freebie US patterns  Roll Eyes

Those are great.  I like the blue and green one best too, I think.

I received my swap package from ddiana1979; and finally got my camera working - look!

I was so excited - they are knitted (I only crochet) and the fabric is so nice and stretchy-squishy. They are gonna be a great way to start this 'ghan.

Here is a closeup of the stitches:

(bee stitch, plowed rows, welts, and slip stitch speckled rib)

She sent a nice letter, and included the names of the different stitches she used, as well as the website www.halfknits.com to find the patterns. This was helpful to me first because I'm not so familiar with knitting, and I wasn't sure of how to turn them so they were right side up, lol.  Shocked

The colors are great and go together so well, and she even put in some extra yarn for seaming or whatever else, which was a super idea.

One thing I didn't expect was an amazon.com gift card for books; a great surprise - so very nice! ::::!!Thank you Diana!!::::

awwww just read Bettflows news, crochet will be the last thing on her mind!

I got my squares from MareMare this morning  Grin
The colours are perfect and the yarn is lovely. Just out of interest what yarn is it? I know it's not something we'll get over here but I like to know  Smiley It's very grey and rainy here this morning so my pics won't be brilliant - but I'll post them asap.

The squares from MareMare, the light is not good and the blue is much brighter irl.:

with 2 I made for myself: They are all the same size, it's the angle of the photo, again the colour isn't true but you get the general idea  Grin

Love the colors you picked, and MareMare sent you a beautiful variety of squares, I like the one that looks like a raised cross.
