This is my first craft challenge entry....
So my sis and I were thrifting when I came across a 35mm movie reel the tin said it was supergirl but when we held the strip to the light we discovered it wasn't supergirl. definitely porn. definitely needed to be a craft of some sort. They only charged me $2 for it. so that is my final cost since everything else was scavenged in my house.

  • 35mm porn
  • brown thread
  • brown satin fabric
  • lamp shade frame
  • scissors
  • crochet hook
  • hot glue
I cut strips of film and crocheted them together with brown thread making a chain stitch up the holes.

hot glued strips of satin (sewed and turned tubes) to top and bottom. slipped the white piece of plastic inside that was part of the original lamp...  im assuming this is safer than having the film directly in front of the light so it wont melt.

this lamp is definitely going to my sisters house. i cant keep such a thing in my house with a kid but it was fun to make.
sorry to everyone... admin has advised me not to send out the porn....no way to verify age etc.

That is so deliciously wicked  Cheesy. I love it, I love the lamp style, I love the filmstrip, I love the ridiculous hairstyles of the actors  Tongue.

Lol, Supergirl... I wonder who felt the need to keep their 70's porn in a Supergirl container anyway...

If I had a craft that I could use filmstrip for I would totally trade you, my husband would find it hilarious.

Excellent! And the subdued light is perfect boudoir lighting material.

Hehehehe love the lamp of rudness.  I would love some film reel, but I think the UK is too far. I have been buying blue 1950,s slides of e-bay for a project like this.

Great job. x

I love it! That is awsome. I would love some of the film to use in something. I see I am not the only one who used film in this challenge. But yours is much nicer than mine Smiley

Wow!!

This is the greatest thing I have seen in a while. I totally dig it. I feel like it should be sitting on a spool side table in an apartment with orange shag.

Is it dirty to want some clippings of porn now for my own crafty endeavors?  Tongue
