Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by, here’s my lamp/ fish tank:

One lamp, 3 ways of using it!
Complete:

Just the top on:

Fish-less:
EDITED TO ADD TUTORIALSo I wanted a cool lamp for my mini desk but felt totally bad about having to move Mr. Moncho (the fish) from the desk. What to do? Make a lamp that is also a fish tank! So I hit the dollar store and found a box of popsicle sticks (1,000 sticks) = $4!!! And a plastic container = $1! And some LED lights (not pictured) =$1, Bamboo skewters= $1. Total spent =$7
plastic container:

popsickle sticks:

So I began staking the "tower" of sticks until I reached the height I liked:

The bottom of the tower was completely covered with sticks, but I forgot to take a picture

Then I filled the tall tower of sticks with colored Christmas lights I had around:
Checked if the lights work:

Now to "cover" the top, must be very sturdy and hard since the fish tank will be on top of this. I left a little triangle open to let the light come out into the tank. Also the cable of the lights must be covered in electrical tape (black thing) :

Then start making the little tower that will be on top of the fish tank. After it was finished I started working on the inside. There has to be a division of where the lights from the top are and where the fish tank starts. I made a rectangle of sticks:

The glued it to the bottom of the "top" and kept building the tower up:

When It was tall enough I placed the LED lights inside and closed up the top completely. Heres the top being closed:

Now it was just a mater of gluing the bamboo sticks to the bottom of the "top" to be able to suspend it over the fish tank:

Close up:

So Mr. Moncho was placed in the plastic container:

The lamp was put together:

the top is easily removed to feed Mr.Moncho and to clean the tank (which is removable too.
Hope it made sense
