hello color!

I was browsing Etsy, and I happened on some listings that had really nice paper in the background. Solid colors, but embossed!

So, I don't want to contact the seller and say, I don't much care for what you are selling, but would you mind telling me where you got this stuff you used for the background? (Another seller was using the same paper, so I know it's not something they embossed themselves with a Cuttlebug or w/e.) Any ideas what it's called, or where to get this paper, or something similar? I tried googling embossed scrapbooking paper, but no luck. Thanks!!

you can emboss it yourself..they have tools and a brass template that you can use to emboss with..but aside from that it looks more like wallpaper type/heavy weight paper ..

as far as the template-its brass and you use a burnisher a wooden handle with a rounded metal tip and you rub it along the template and the reverse side gets embossed..

good luck Smiley

Handmade-Paper has some great embossed papers.  I don't know if these are exactly what you're looking for, but it's worth a peek.

Ooo neat... I like the patterns these guys have, but I'm not much for subtle; I'm looking for something fun and bright or pastel or something.

Is there a name for the brass template so I can try to search for it, see what's out there? (It might also double as a polymer clay texture plate!) I thought of embossing it myself, but the only things at Michaels are for Cutterbug and what not, and of the few that are there, I wasn't crazy about the styles. I like more geometrical ones, I guess. They do look like wallpaper, now that you mention it! From the scale though, I don't think that's what it is. (That would be some really expensive wallpaper, too!)

Thanks guys!
