sooooooooo.... along with this being my first (((real))) post, this was my winter formal dress... our theme was "finding formal"  ((yeah lame i know)) its was kind of a under the sea type thing.... it was held at an aquarium.
and pretty much.... it was awesome.

p.s. this is my very first dress. i made this from scratch, no patterns, no nothing.. so sorry if its crappy.

this is the front....

and this is the back... sorry 'bout the jacket it was kinda chilly

OoooOooOoooo... I love it. I love the color...  Cheesy Great job! I can't believe its your first attempt at a dress. You should really pat yourself on the back you know! Once again... Awesome job! It's so 80's!!!  Cheesy

That's beautiful! I love the 'fin' in the back. How did you decide where to start when you were making it?

well... i'm kind of a cheater... i had this dress that i was absolutely in love with (which looks almost exactly like that, with exception of a few crazy ruffles and sequins and roses and such...) and basically i made a replica of that but in the sea-colored fabric... yup

so yeah, basically i divided it in sections... front/sides/back.... then whatever.
.......

and thanks so much for the kudos guys, you made my entire MONTH!!!
