My 2-year-old is on a dress kick right now, and is very spoiled, so I had to make her one.  So here is my "Cheytown" dress, from a hand-me-down from Nana (my mom).  I had the flower trim in my scrapbook stash, and I need to put some elastic or something in the back (it's a little loose).  I also cut it too close to the top button, so I put a snap under the button.  Wink

When I got it finished, she tells me "Thank you Mommy for the beautiful pretty beautiful dress for me!"  See why she's spoiled?  Roll Eyes

That's so cute, I really like the pattern and the flower trim sets it off well. You have a gorgous little girl and she's got a great head of hair.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

oh, that hair...  it was SO curly when she was born, now only the ends are.  It needs to be cut as she hate for it to be brushed, but I can't bear to cut off the curls...

Good idea on the flower trim! She's a cutie, and how could you not make her a dress since she's so appreciative?  Cheesy
