Here is an installation that I did last year.  Giant cherries in a pile made of vinyl, real smashed cherrys and red paint.

Yes it was for a class, I forget what the class was called... but everyone had to make an installation from one of three topics: environment, social issues, culture (hmm i think those were the choices?)

Yeah I have no idea where the heck I got this idea from! LOL.  Vagina? Hmmm that's for you to decide!!!

BUT, I will tell you that it is about girls becoming women and the changes & responsibilities that are brought on by the physical & mental development.  It reflects the loss of innocence during developement into adulthood and how the issue has only recently (since the late 20th century) become a more open topic in western culture. 

Blah blah... blah.  Sorry to bore you.  Wink
