tatting is a knotted art, I do 48 knots per inch, and it takes an hour to do about 4 inches. I buy very expensive, variegated cotton and rayon threads to do this. the beads are all glass beads. Clasps are all silver plated.

these are cool and comfortable to wear year round. If you have a metal allergy, I can make ties for them.

NEW:
Would anyone like a tatting kit? Includes various threads, a shuttle, a joining hook, a CD with pictures illustrating HOW to shuttle tat, 5 books of patterns and several patterns to do as a beginner:  3D flower on wire; Greeting card; Bookmark (or bracelet); Beaded pendant.

NEW:
Here is a color card, I am ordering ALL the colors, so I should be able to do lots of custom colorations.
  • each bracelet is choice two colors,
  • bookmarks are one color,
  • the tatted daisy cuff is  usually one color, but I can alternate daisies' colors if you want two or more colors on the cuff. Cuff is plain shade of fabric. I have green, shades of brown from ecru to deep chocolate, and black, or white.

pdf of colors

Custom colors are within the colors I have in stock (see card above), custom sizing from 4" to 9" which includes a magnetic or toggle clasp. (you stick one end of the "T" through the loop.)

You can stalk my posts, my sold etsys and see all the colors, if it helps.

FINISHED ITEMS:
Bookmarks:

Beaded, tatted bracelets, will add either toggle clasp or magnetic clasp.

Bracelets, various lengths, these have/will have magnetic clasps:

1-purple shades - 5 - 5 1/2 inches
2-red & black - 5 - 5 1/2 inches (can make this longer)
3-herb garden, warm pink, olive shades, pale yellow, aqua, lavender 7 -7 1/2 inches
4-brite blue, green, lavender 8 inches
5-denim blue with purples 6 1/2 inches
6-pink and pale sage 9 inches
7-red violet, magenta, lavender 8 inches
8-white, pink, orange, 7 inches, and 8 inches
9-pink with brown 8 inches
10-denim, orchid, black 5 1/2 inches
11-english garden, pale yellow, forget-me-not blue, mauve, pink, olive shades 6 inches
12-half is purple with aqua/sky blue/lavender & half teal, lavender, purple black with aqua/sky blue/lavender 8 inches

Blythe doll-sized straw hat with tatted hatband - the tatted head band is 10" of tatting, and the pattern took longer than my normal bracelets.

tatted earrings and pendant, for set. pink, white, and orange. pearl cotton, lightweight, dangle-ly. tatted portion of earrings are 2 1/2 inches long.
I will add either hooks or posts to earrings, your choice. And gold or silver jump ring to pendant.

lot of oranges/reds yarn:  Lion Brand: Lion Boucle Mohair blend combines the texture of curls & loops.  Multi colored, never used.  Medium amount.Flouresant orange yarn, no label.  Looks like the regular red heart type. Used very little.  Pretty big size.  Few balls of other similar colors.  (Pen not included, its only to show size of yarns)

Lot of browns:  the darker ball is really soft & super fuzzy!  I got it to make a bear but im still a newbie crocheter so, I think I should stick with just regular yarn for a while.  The light brown yarn with the lable is the same super soft & fuzzy type:

Lot of pinks:  the one pink ball is super soft & fuzzy and has picese of blue & other colors in it, I got it, but like the fuzzy browns since im a newbie I couldnt use it very well.  the pinks are pink in color, I just used my camera phone because my batteries in my camera died.

Lot of various cat eyes.  Great for making cats or little crocheted one eyed monster  amgurumis!  I have all my eyes in a bag together, so you will get 20 random eyes simular to the ones in the picture.
