I received from maxparadise a couple days ago.  She made me three cute little birdy pins (wist inspired), a little card holder purse, which is DARLING, a collaged birdy journal, three pairs of dessert earrings (also wist inspired) and if that weren't enough she sent some beads, whimsies and skeleton keys!

Thanks so much maxparadise!

Awww I'm so glad that you like your pencil roll. I love that whale fabric too! I found it at Goodwill a few months back and I didn't know what to use it for but I knew I had to have it. I got about 2 yards for 2.50, not a bad deal! The roll is actually one whole width (selvage to selvage) of the fabric to give others an idea of the length! I think I am going to make an apron with the leftover. It is just such a cute happy print. Makes me smile every time that I see it!

I got quite an amusing package from nofury. I opened the box and was greated by this sight. Whaaaaa....Huh?

Then I started opening boxes, thinking my wisty surprise was in those. Nope, just pads! And what about that bag of what looks to be pads? Yep, more pads.  Grin

So I finally open the wrapped object and, lo and behold, a toiletries holder! (Or a tampon/pad holder, whatever terminology you prefer.)

I had one of these wisted because I need a good travel one for overnight trips. And this one is perfect! I love the fabric and everything is so well sewn. Thank you so, so much, nofury - it's perfect!  Wink

So freakin funny! If I tried something like that, my luck I would get so carried away I would forget to put the actual carrier into the box, and realize sometime later that I sent someone I've never met just a box of Kotexes.  Cheesy
Now that I think about it, those would be really good packing supplies for fragile items...

This crafter is out of service most of the rest of 2015 due to a wild schedule, swapping once in a while when I can't fight the feeling anymore.

You know we're all friends when we all think a box of pads is a super great swap package!  Smiley  Of course, nofury's excellent stitching (and sense of humor) contributes to the swap's success!  Smiley  Love it!
