yay so i have these genesis heat-set artist oils  and i've really only used them for my polymer clay sculptures but yesterday i decided top try them out on something else.cardboard.
originally i wanted to make a cherry blossom tree but I guess the painting had other plans .

I like it.  It reminds me of Van Gogh's Starry Night, my all-time favorite.

it's nothing like i envisioned it'd be  but i guess I'm happy with it .. but now what do i do with it?

Oh, good analogy with the Van Gogh.
I like how the swirls in the sky follow the tree limbs, very cool!

those blue lines in the sky were a happy accident. I mixed the blue wrong .. i had intended to just add more sky color because a flower crossed over from the ground lien to the sky line and i was going to cover it up.. but the color was darker.
