This really neat! Are you able to post some photos of the back, like where the tea light candles sit etc to see how it all fits together??  Smiley

i took a few pics for you, but really, it's as basic as basic gets, lol.
Im not that complicated of a thinker
(p.s. check out the wicked shadow it makes on the wall)

I've seen tooling sheet metal at Michael's near the brushes and tube paints. Copper, aluminum. I've also seen some at my local Ace Hardware store. Brass, copper.
Worst case scenario one could use an aluminum can.

Which?
I'm pretty sure HomeDepot has aluminum flashing as used for roofing but I can't remember for sure if they have any other sheet metal. You could  call and ask. An aluminum can will work. Make sure you sand down the cut edges of any of them!!! It won't take a lot of abuse. You could burn off the paint or strip it.  I've cut it with snap blades pretty easily.

yeah I got mine at Michael's. I"m sure you can find it cheaper elsewhere, but if that's the only place around, they DO have it. there are some different thicknesses. I think the one i bought was too thin for this project but it worked.
