I was thinking the same thing, every time I come to check on the swap the deadline has been extended, this is the first swap I have ever participated in and it's making me think long and hard about participating in another, It's too long of a time commitment

well, i hope you do try another one. most swaps don't extend for this long.. usually extensions are only given out to those who need it, like if someone's partner flaked or there was an illness or something. maybe try a much smaller swap next time, they tend to end faster. =)

Yeah, but does it matter if it's continuously extended if you send your own out and get your feedback quickly?  That's all that matters isn't it?

Yeah, except that my partner received weeks ago and I haven't gotten feeedback yet.  Maybe I should pm the organizer and ask for it.  There's a slew of swaps coming up that I want to be part of.
