My mom bought me this not so cute wall mounted candle holder thing form the dollar store. Although I wasn't all that impressed with it, I could tell that it had some real potential.

My living room is "electric lime green" with white accessories and touches of pink here and there for a more dramatic effect. ( I am not afraid of color!) So I spray painted it white and then hot glued pink rhinestones on each swirl to give it a little sparkle. Bought some 4/$1.00 pink candles, mounted it and now it looks like something you would pay $40.00 or $50.00 dollars for from one of those home decor magazines. The pics don't do the rhinestones justice but you get the idea and I love it!

Please tell me what you think!

Very cool makeover (as is your fireplace screen!).  I am in love with your wall colour choices! The white really pops against the bold background and the rhinestones are a great funky touch.

I love finds like this...I just found something just like this actually at Ross the other day for super cheap, I'm in the midst of repainting it, so this gives me hope it will look pretty. Love the wall color by the way  Smiley
