My very 1st article of clothing for ME since 7th Grade HomeEc! Well that one turned-ta-crap in 7th grade and I have never completed another article of clothing for ME until today.....

I give you my dress.......... TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA A!

I love this print so much I bought enough to make me and my lil girl the same dress to wear for Sunday. I only have to find my eye&hooks to finish the back and then it's completely DONE. I am so proud of myself. Grin It fits the girls and my belly chub(that I wish I didn't have- but I'm working on that). I love it so much. It's New Look # 6699 and the fabric is something I got from the Juvenile prints at Joann's!  Cheesy Looks grown-up and yet still little girly enough for me!

Thanks Everyone! Smiley I was scared to DEATH. It only took a full day to make. I am making a green gingham one also. Grin Going to have to save that one until Monday to make it. (DD is getting a matching one of that also!)

It is gorgeous! I'm gonna have to go look for that pattern. I've had a desire to wear tons of dresses lately.

Thank you!It was SOOOOOOOOOOO EASY to make! I'm just glad I will still be able to wear it after I lose some weight. (My biggest fear with buying new clothes while losing weight) I am going to have to make quite a few of these. I think I'll be looking around the thrift stores for sheets!

I thought it was nice for Spring and Summer. Grin Had to break out of owning all LBDs. I own 3 of those.  Lips sealed

beauuuuuutiful! It fits you like a glove! Did you have to alter the pattern much? Nothing I've ever made from a pattern fit me that well  Undecided
