A Recycled Wine Glass Chandelier

Way Cool.  How did you make the whole thing stick together without a lot of glue/adhesive/construction details showing.  I've got a bar that is begging for a new light!

I tied fishing line from the stems of the glasses to a curtain ring. I also used a crimp bead on the knots just in case the double knots I tied in the fishing line decided to come untied.  then I hung the curtain ring on the hook that came with the lamp kit.

It's hard to tell, but I do have some faceted glasses in this chandelier. One of the things I like about this light (other than the price tag! ) is that a lot of orphan wine and water glasses were wedding presents that became orphans after many years of marriage and accidental glass breakage.

Do you think I could sell something like this? My FIL thinks so.

Thanks for the explanation.  I couldn't see the fishing line in the picture which makes it even cooler!  Good luck with them.

i think people would buy it, i think it is great (and you gave me a great idea. i hope i will be able to do something like that, and i hope it will look good in the new kitchen)

but there might be problems with copyright  as your chandelier is, in fact, a copy of this other one.
if its patented by the person who designed the original, you're defenitly not allowed to sell yours … if not, it might still be a problem.
hope that makes sense.
