I needed an overhead light for my craft room. I wanted a Chandelini but the $6000.00 price tag was a bit too much. So I made one myself out of orphan wine glasses. Unfortunately the photos don't do it justice.




I had most of the materials, my version only cost me $6.00. Much cheaper than the original that inspired it!

This is really cool!  I like the faceted glass in the original, though; it's interesting to see the contrast between your plain wine glass version and all the cut angles there.  (makes me wonder what's lurking in my collection of unused stemware, waiting for a new life...)

Way Cool.  How did you make the whole thing stick together without a lot of glue/adhesive/construction details showing.  I've got a bar that is begging for a new light!
