Hi, I'm Kim. I've been lurking here for quite a while. So I wanted to introduce myself and share a dress I made last year for my annual Passion Parties Convention awards banquet. It's Butterick 4919 http://www.butterick.com/item/B4919.htm?tab=evening_prom_bridal&page=2. I used home decor fabrics and found a crinoline to go under it at the thrift store for $5! Sorry the picture isn't very good. They kept putting out that stage smoke and it made all the pics foggy. (That's my good friend Lisa in the pic with me).

I used 3 different dark red fabrics, one for the bodice, skirt, and the sash. It wsa fun making it! Hemming was a b!tch though--I did it by hand.  Thanks for looking!
