These are for the grandma's on mothers day- to keep on their desks at work or wherever. Seriously easy and inexpensive! My 2 year old painted the pots, my 2 month old.. well... she wasn't too thrilled to have me touch her feet much less let me paint them to put her footprints on there, so she "signed" the back a la mommy. Smiley

terra cotta pots- .99 cents each
pens .96 cents for a 10 pack at walmart
paints- less than a buck each
flowers- 1.50 for the bunch
rice to put in the pots- 2 bucks.

That is really cute. Cheesy

My desk is covered in plants, maybe I should make myself a flower pot and flower pens!

These are great!  Cheesy

My sister is a teacher and did this Mother's Day project with her elementary students a couple of years ago- except substituted the rice with Plaster of Paris, and put the caps to the pens in while it was setting. This way the pens stay nice and sturdy, and the hardening plaster can also be sprinkled with seed beads for a cute touch.
