Very nice. I love the fabric. I've never used batting in bags before. Is it hard to use or does it just take practice?

Thanks so much, Jilden!  I'll definitely have to try that in my next bag.

BabyGirlBling:
It's really a matter the first few times, of slowing down when you're getting the hang of it.

Something my mom has done, is cut a pattern a half inch or so larger and baste the fabric, interfacing, and batting together and then before sewing the purse she'll trim the pieces down with the rotary, so all of her edges are clean.  This makes a starting spot where everything is even and lined up...  (This always seems so time consuming, but it's really not!)  =)

Beautiful bag! I really like the fabric. I have used fusible fleece to thicken up bags...You can cut it using the same pattern, iron it to the wrong side of your fabric and then treat it like a regular piece of fabric. I have been able to find it at my fabric store with the other interfacing fabrics. I did break at least a few needles when I first started sewing the thicker fabric...make sure you have a needle that can handle the project and/or consider trimming the heavy duty fleece on parts where you have many layers to sew.
