Back before the holidays, I idly mentioned that after new years I would host a Shrinky Dink Swap.  And just in time, too -- it looks like Shrinky Dinks are on the rise here on Craftster.  So, I'm posting here to see who might wanna play.  I can tell you that it probably wouldn't start until mid-February at least.

Any suggestions on specifics for the swap?  Ask for likes/dislikes?  Have a theme?  Anything goes?

Melinda

Yo, ye pharaohs! Let us walk through this barren desert, in search of truth, and some pointy boots, and maybe a few snack crackers.

You can get them at Michael's, but they're in a weird spot, like, in with the rubber stamping/scrapbooking stuff, and in our 2 stores anyway, they're kinda up on the wall and hard to see.

You can also get them from online at shrinkydink.com

They come in different colors and some you can run through a computer printer.  I have not tried this, myself.  I get the "Rough & Ready" kind, which means it's already textured on one side and doesn't have to be sanded with sandpaper.

i've seen such great shrinky dink's stuff around here. and i think it has such a great potential Smiley
unfortunely i'm afraid i can't find such thing here. i just know that after finishing the school project i'm working in i'll start looking for shrinky dinks in shops and i'll try to see if they sell it in portugal.
i think that great things can be made using it.
i'm anxious to see what everyone will come up to in this swap.

I love working with shrinky dinks. It combines 2 of my favorite things, drawing and jewelry making. I'd be in!
