The together was the inspiration for the piece - those little ones will always be tied together.  I'm glad you like it a-roze.

That, and I totally ripped off the book cover thing from Phizzy.

The texture on the photo comes from gesso, sandpaper, and spray web.  I love spray web.

The spray web is pretty fantastic. Does it come in those tiny little spray cans by Krylon?

Yes, I use the krylon brand, in the small size.  It's tricky to use because it's very hard to direct the spray.  I ruined the piece I'm working on for Racky with it.  I've found the best way to use it is to mask areas where I don't want it to cover with a torn piece of paper (torn to avoid a straight edge).  But unfortunately, I sometimes forget to do that.
