Truly awesome page Racky and I really think it fits the brothers "troubled" history. I especially like having the word chloroform on the prescription. What an awesome find those were.
I love the colors and layers you used on that as well.

I'm truly impressed with that awesome stamp as well. I really need me one of those kinds of stamp stores around here. All I get are the cutesy kind...ack!

I had a major revelation yesterday on exactly what I was going to do with your page Racky and have the next three days to work on the rest of my ancestors with a very clear idea of what is going to become of them. I'm very excited.

At the risk of sounding like a commercial, all those stamps were purchased online from Alpha Stamps.  Cheesy

I'm excited too! I can't wait to see them!

hee,hee I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Alpha (couldn't resist your link...) but was distracted by all the other goodies and didn't really look at the stamps.  sigh....next time I guess Wink

I'm almost done Katxena's and Arozes ancestors then i can start on the next batch!  My husbands visa hasn't come through yet so he won't be going till after next weekend.  That means lots of gardening to do this week and I also have a garage sale to do on the weekend.  This weekend is THE weekend for art projects!

Here is the story behind the boys...

Edmund & Levi were children of a wealthy family who were usually left to their own devices as their parents traveled the world. Edmund, the elder of the two, was a cruel child and poor Levi was his usual target. Levi was always seen with bandages, bruises and the occasional broken bone from the games that Edmund would invent for them to play.

Edmund only lived to the age of 16, when he died in a suspicious accident following a particularly mean game with Levi.

The story was very slightly inspired by the Cain & Abel characters in Gaiman's Sandman.

Because we, (and we all know who we is *wink*) can't stand an empty gallery and I just happened to have a scan of the ancestor that I sent to AM and she has received, I thought that I might go ahead and post this for AM. *chuckle*

Sonja her Sister and the giant rhubarb leaves. I also wanted to add her favorite purple color in there as well even though it wasn't her favorite flower.

The back

I'm glad she arrived safely AM!

Wow, babs, that is fantastic! I love how they're holding the rhubarb leaves! And the colors are perfect!

Thanks for posting that.
