Hi all,

For all of you crafsters who live near Savannah, you may have noticed a lack of cool arts and crafts stores.  If you're like me, you are not very inspired by the big box retailers.  I will be opening an arts and crafts supply store near Savannah (location to be revealed soon!).  I will have the following categories: needlearts, wearables embellishing, home decor, art supplies, kid art supplies (emphasis on art not googly eyes and pompoms), jewelery making, general craft supply.  The emphasis will be on quality and creativity (ie. no put it together cheap craft kits).  I would love any input as to must haves, categories not mentioned, cool suppliers (real wholesale).  I will also have classes, workshops, lots of samples for inspiration (so craft ideas with directions are welcomed), weekly new idea with free directions and product supply list, a brag wall for customers, cool lounge area,  and a kid friendly area.  I hope you will all come and check it out!!!  Look forward to hearing from you.

I don't live in Savannah, but I get over here often because my grandchildren live there.  Was wondering if you ever got your arts and crafts store opened?  If so, can you give me the name and location so that I can take them by and purchase some things for them.  Would love to support folks I have met on Craftsters.

Thanks, Barbara
