So once upon a time my sis bought a lesportsac utility belt, and then I saw it and wanted one!  Only, the Lesportsac outlet store near me had a limited selection of ones with lame fabric.  And they were expensive!  Super lame.
So later I came across this awesome owl fabric and was inspired to make my own!

Closeup of the fabric:

The handy dandy utility belt!

Me wearing it all happy-like:

I went for a more apron look in the end, instead of the lesportsac zipper-y stuff.
I'm so happy with the results!  It's super nice to have the things I need like my wallet, keys, and cellphone in something that I wear and can't lose.  I went to a party right after I finished making it, and it was perfect to not have to worry about a purse the whole night!

Isn't that a fanny pack?

It's cute. I like the owls.
