DETAILS:

This is a finished item swap. Post a "shop" of at least 5 items for everyone else in the swap to choose from. All items should be finished and hand crafted. Supply option you can also post up to 4 supply items (non-crafted) Keep these items at the end of your shop.
What is a shop?
A shop is a post in this thread, listing the items that you have available to be claimed. As long as you can post a list of items, with pictures if at all possible, you have a swap shop! You can also manage your shop pictures on your own picture hosting and just post links in your shop post. It's up to you to keep your shop as up to date as possible by removing items that have been claimed (transfer pictures to the gallery) and posting any new items you want to add. Items in your shop should all have a 'price' between 1 and 3 points. Make sure it's clear how much each item costs and use a recognizable title if you can (for example: green sparkly scarf if there are more than one green sparkly scarf # 1)

CLAIMS
- When you claim an item, pm all 3 organizers (alteredmommy, lapoli, Phizzychick) AND the person you claim from. Claims will be first come, first served. The first person to send a PM to all four of the proper people IN THE PROPER FORMAT will get the item.
- Rather than keeping track of the number of claims like the other ongoing swaps, we will be using a point system for this swap.
- When someone claims an item on your list and is confirmed by an organizer, you are responsible for removing that item from your shop post. There is a gallery that you can transfer your pictures to, see below for the link.
- When you send and receive an item, PM all 3 organizers (alteredmommy, lapoli and Phizzychick) AND the person who sent it to you.
- DC# are required on an object that is eligible for one if sending internationally please keep your postal receipt until your item is received.  If your item has not been received within a reasonable time (3-4 weeks domestic; 4-5 weeks international) an angel can be arranged if you have a DC# or postal receipt.  If not you will be required to remake or offer something else from your shop and resend.
please remember to include the send by date (one week from the claim date) in your send and receive pms

When claiming it needs to come to us looking like this:

make sure the To: box includes ALL the proper people in your pm ALL the organizers and the person you are claiming from/sending to/receiving from We need to see ONE message with everyones name on it to be valid! (hint- put quotes around each name except the last one you type)

When you claim it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - CLAIM
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1 pt)
dont forget your name and address!!

When you send it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - SENT
Send By May 30th don't forget to put the send by date!
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1)

When you receive it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - RECEIVED
Send By May 30th once again, don't forget the send by date
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1)

Claims must be in this format, or they will not be honored. If you DO NOT receive a claim in this format, please do not send the item. If you wish you can send the claimer a PM reminding them of the proper format for claims.

If you want to include a personal note in the PM as well, it's fine, but please make sure it is underneath the claim information.

You can include several claims in one post, but make sure each is listed seperately and that it is clear there are multiple claims.

POINTS
Here are the most important things you need to know about your points:
- all persons NEW to the swap get 3 points to spend to start with; swappers from previous Shop the Swaps (from Round 2 to now) carry over their points to the next month they sign up for.  Round 1 had a different point structure, please let us know if that was the only STS round you were in.
- if you plan on leaving the swap at the end of the month please spend down your points to 3, you must leave the swap with the same 3 points you started with!!.  Negative feedback will be given for leaving with less than 3 points
- Every time someone claims an item from your shop, you get the price of the item in points. ****You cannot spend your points until you have physically SENT the item and pmd the proper people****
- Every time you claim an item from someone else's shop you spend the amount of points in the price of the item.
- Once you have +7 points (TOTAL of current and pending), your shop will be temporarily closed for business until you have less than 5 points. Please edit your shop post to put 'CLOSED' in large bold letters to make it clear to everyone when your shop is closed. There will also be a list near the top of the thread with all the closed shops.
- Once you have 0 points, you can't claim any items until you have at least 1 point.
- The organizers will keep a running point total at the top of the thread, but you should keep track at the bottom of your shop as well. All claims from you and that you make for this round only must be listed there.
Please use this format at the bottom of your shop:

Claims from me:
list all claims made to your shop

Claims I have made
list all claims you have made to other shops

POINTS
Started with: (how many points you started this round with)
Current: (how many spendable points you currently have)
Pending: (how many points you have from pending claims that you have not sent yet)
TOTAL: (the total of current and pending points-if this total is 7 or more you must CLOSE your shop until you can ship/spend down to 5 points or less)

General Information

How many points do I start with?
If this is your first round, you start with 3 points but you cannot spend these points until you have your shop opened!! If you were part of a previous round you'll start with a number of points based on how many points you had at the end of your last round.

Do I have to post pictures?
It's not required, but it's strongly encouraged. Good pictures will make people more likely to claim your items!

What size items should be in my shop? What size goes with what price?
You can put any size items in your shop, and you can charge whatever price is fair. If you really need a guideline, try small for 1 point, medium for 2 points, large for 3 points. But feel free to judge by other criteria like the expense of the materials, how much you enjoy making the item, how popular the item seems to be, etc.

Why does my shop close when I have 7 points? (TOTAL of current AND pending)
When you have 7 points, it means you've had several more claims against your shop than you have made yourself. We want to make sure that no one gets shortchanged, so once several items have been claimed from your list, your shop will be 'closed' until you catch up on claiming some things for yourself. We also want to make sure no one is 'hoarding' points, so we want you to spend your points and get them back out in the economy.

Why don't I get my points until I have sent my item?
There are several reasons for this. First of all, it's a good way for us to control how many claims you have going on at one time. If you don't get your points until your items are sent, you can't have a bunch of packages waiting to be shipped and still be making claims. It will also help protect our swap from anyone who might flake by not allowing them to make lots of claims if they aren't shipping their items. And it'll encourage everyone to ship on time, or even faster, so that they can get their points! We aren't waiting until items are received, because that will make it very difficult for international craftsters to participate in the swap.
Please let the organizers know if you are going to be shipping late!!!

What can I put in my shop post?
Can I put a wishlist? Can I take requests? Can I give teasers?
The focus of your shop post, should be your shop! However, as long as you are keeping your shop the focus, and keeping it up to date, and keeping it stocked.... We don't care what you put in there!

I want to do another swap, but the month isn't over, can you go ahead and give me my feedback?
In order to leave the swap early, you need to have at least as many points as you started with. You must have 3 points to leave this swap. If points are an issue after a close-out sale and posting in the thread, contact the organizers for further help. Once you do, you can go ahead and 'close' your shop. Then, after everything that had been previously claimed from you has been received, you can leave the swap and get your positive feedback.

My points/claims don't match what I think they should. Is something wrong?
If it has been more than 24 hours since you made the claim. Or if any of the organizers admit to having been drunk/sick/tired when we last updated the claims or points, go ahead and send us a PM. Otherwise, give us about 24 hours to get caught up with claims. If your claim is at least 24 hours old, and something seems wrong, feel free to send us a PM and ask. If your claim is several days old and something seems wrong PLEASE send us a PM to make sure we received the claim!

I think I have 7 points but you only show me with 6, am I closed? OR I think I have 6 points but you show me with 7, am I open? OR Why are my points still pending, I sent those items?
In general, if you have recently changed your points, you're probably right and the point total is probably out of date. When in doubt, it's fine to go with what you think your status is. It doesn't hurt to include a little note in any PM's you send letting us know, just in case there is an issue. (For example, "XladyluckX just claimed my peanut butter sculpture, but your list shows my shop as closed. I claimed a couple things recently so I think I should be open and this claim should be ok.") Now, since you are the person who is the most up to date on your own point total, help us out!! Please close your shop when you know you're at 7 points. Also, feel free to re-open your shop when you know you are at 5 points. And, if you've sent us a PM saying you sent items, go ahead and spend the points, even if they still show as pending points on the list.

Why do I have to list my claims in my shop? Aren't you keeping track of my points?
Yes! We are keeping track of your points, and in any disagreement, ours is the list that counts. But to make it easier to resolve any disagreements, we'd like to be able to compare your list of what you think you've claimed/has been claimed from you, and compare it to our list!
Also, if you keep a running list of your claims in your shop, it makes it much easier for people to look at your shop and figure out if you are open or closed, when the points list hasn't been updated in the last 5 minutes! Please see the first post about format!!

OPEN

Located in lovely Northern Alberta, my smoke-free home includes both a cat and dog and while I try to keep things hair free lets just say I spend more time crafting than vacuuming......

Business card case 1 pt 2 available  pictures to come
These card cases are the same as the last I offered (see previous pics in the gallery) one is in the blue japanese print and the other in a brown paper with silver swirls.  Made from heavy bristal board covered in beautiful paper, painted on the inside (blue and a brown/yellow) with a ribbon and button closure.  fairly sturdy but not waterproof as they are made of paper!

Log Cabin wall hanging 3 points
This lovely pieced and quilted wall hanging was made by my best friends mother-in-law.  I can't find a place for it in my mid-century modern house and would love it to go to someone who will appreciate the work that went into it!  It measures 32" by 32", with a sleeve on the back for hanging, is signed and dated on the back.  She's won quite a few shows with her quilts....
**Because of Canada Posts exhorbitant shipping rates I'm afraid I'll have to limit this one to North American addresses only**

open!

new!

For all the herbal body products, I will list all the ingredients I use in preparation.  Please do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient or sensitive to certain essential oils.  I make these fresh so if you need a tea sans certain ingredients, please PM me and I'll be happy to make one for you!  If you are pregnant, please consult your doctor before using any herbal products.

Lemony Bugs-Away Lotion

Contains witch hazel, vegetable glycerin, lemongrass and citronella essential oils. Recipe from "Organic Body Care Recipes." Great smelling and free of all that nasty stuff that comes with commercial sprays!  I'd prefer to ship these to North America -- if you are in another location, please PM me and I'll find another container to ship.  Each product is in an amber glass bottle (great to save and reuse!)  Each 8oz container is 2 points.

Herbal Bath Tea

3 available, 1/2 point each.  A perfect combination of chamomile flowers, comfrey leaves, ground oatmeal and blackberry leaves.  Great for all skin types, and especially itchy or rashy skin.  Comes wrapped in a large muslin pouch.

Stimulating Herbal Bath Tea 4 available, 1/2 point each. Perfect for that 'pick-me-up' you need before hitting the town! Stimlates circulation and tickles your senses!  Wink An uplifting blend of peppermint leaves, rosemary leaves, basil leaves, lemon rind, orange rind, ground oatmeal and peppermint and rosemary essential oils

Light Purple Vanilla Lavender hand soap. 2 available, 1/2 point each. (Color is not true in this photo)

Brown Sugar and Fig exfoliating soap, with natural ground apricot seed.  1/2 point. 1 available.

Light Pink Cherry Blossom Soap. 1 available, 1/2 point each. (Color is not true in this photo)

Cool Spring Soap. 3 available, 1/2 point each.  Color is definitely off in this photo--the soaps are actually a beautiful, vibrant blue, with glitter added and the great, cooling scent of pina colada added for a nice refreshing soap.

Pretty handspun neckwarmer! This neckwarmer is VERY special--I handspun the yarn from corriedale that was locally dyed by Three Waters Farm.  I spun the wool into this yarn:

..and then knit the neckwarmer! Not only will you get the neckwarmer (I'll add a button for it, too), but I'll send along the remaining bit of handspun, too.  3 points!

Hand Dyed Fiber for Felting/Carding/Spinning

I have some "leftovers" from other endevours that are perfectly usable.  These are all Brown Sheep mill ends and wonderfuly soft.  Each of these pieces can be used for spinning/felting/carding but they had been set aside from the rest for being shorter pieces and/or more matted than I cared to deal with.  These have been dyed with Jacquard Acid Dyes and rinsed with Eucalan several times.  Want other colors?  PM me and perhaps we can work something out.

"Pipsqueak."  This roving is perfectly spinable, just in a thick piece rather than being longer and braidable.  3oz available. 2 points for all, or 1oz for 1 point.

Coming Soon! Batts!

new! supplies!

PICTURES COMING SOON!

Brown Sheep Mill Ends.  Smaller pieces from Brown Sheep rovings.  8 ounces for a point!!!! (Sorry no picture!)

Paper Source chocolate brown envelopes. Each pack is 1 point.  Choose from the smaller size (top) or larger size (bottom).  Multiple sets available.  I think these are in sets of 8.

Lagoon. 2 oz. Columbia/Dorset 100% wool top. It's a relatiely inexpensive wool, so it's not as soft as some others, but it is definitely soft enough to spin, and should also felt well. I threw this together with some leftover bits of dye, and I'm thrilled with how it came out! Two points.

Box of Crayons. 3 oz. Columbia/Dorset 100% wool top. There are six colors in the pack, and you get roughly 1/2 oz. of each. It's a relatiely inexpensive wool, so it's not as soft as some others, but it is definitely soft enough to spin, and should also felt well. Use this to enhance your color palette for needle felting or wet felting, or just spin it into rainbow yarn! The blue and purple separated out, just because those dyes like to do that, but when you draft the fibers (pull them apart to loosen them up) that will blend up a lot. Three points.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/Msviolaceous/Craft%20Projects/boxofcrayons.jpg

Gooseberry. From the roving formerly known as Blueberry Guts! 2 oz, 85 yards. 100% merino plied with cotton/polyester thread and lovely glass beads. This yarn is amazingly soft due to the merino. Very lofty due to being plied with thread. Totally eyecatching, thanks to the iridescent beads. Will go fast! Three points.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/Msviolaceous/Craft%20Projects/gooseberry.jpg

Mystery Handspun. From a crazy batt by HollyEQQ. I don't remember the yardage or the weight, because I was going to knit this up myself and offer the finished piece(s) on here, but I never got around to it. It's wound into a ball already, and leaving it that way seems like the most practical thing to do at this point, so that's how it'll be shipped unless you ask me to re-skein it! If you have any fiber animal allergies at all, skip this one because who knows what was in this crazy batt! This is definitely a bargain lot, because I'm sure the skein is over-sized... I just don't know by how much. Theres some sparkly stuff in there too. You might knit a large-gauge wacky scarf out of this baby. Three points.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/Msviolaceous/Craft%20Projects/whattheyarn2.jpg

Junk Food Earrings. Acrylic charms on chunky silver-plated chain with sterling french hook earwires. Choose from pizza/cokes and hamburger/french fries. One-half point each.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/Msviolaceous/Craft%20Projects/burgersfries.jpg

Ending points: 6

Sansa's Swap Shop

Smoke and Pet Free Home

Ready Made

Three Point Items

Butterflies Singlet Style Grocery Bag (3)
14 inches high by 12 inches wide not including handles. Comes with zippered pouch to put folded bag inside. I have more of this fabric.

Two Point Items

Butterfly Satin Lined Bag (2) Lined with White satin. 7 inch square based bag with wrist strap and drawstring closure. Handy for holding knitting projects. Distance from base to drawstring approx 12 inches. In the pic, twelve balls of wool and a ten inch pair of knitting needles are tucked away.

Totable Tote Butterfly/heart(2)

Left and right totes measure 14 x 9 x 4.5 inches unfolded. Folds to 6 x 5 inches. I had to rotate the pattern piece on the middle one, so it must be 9 x 14 x 4.5 inches ie. It is shorter and wider than the other two. Lining is same as handle fabric on right tote. The other two are pink/white stripe lining.

Left purple bandana tote SOLD

I have kept the position the same in both pics, so each tote has one heart and one butterfly.

One point Items

Panta from hand dyed yarn by Penguino. Velcro not stitched down in the pic but it will be before I send. 18 inches not including the tabs which are approx. 2.25 inches long. SOLD

Panta from varigated brown yarn 50% wool  iirc. I used a smaller hook on this one as I thought the first one was a bit large. 16 inches not including the tabs which are approx. 2.25 inches long.

Twelve x twelve inch sewing notions bag (1)

Black Spotted Compact Stitching Case (1)

Barbie Totable Tote - Small (1)

Measures 6 inches wide x 9.5 inches high unfolded and 5.5 x 4 inches when folded

Lining fabric is a different Barbie fabric covered with hearts.

Barbie hostess apron. Base white linen fabric covered with gauzy pink Barbie themed fabric. This lay nice and flat but I had to embroider over the seams due to the nature of the pink gauze and now it curls at the edges. To test it, I washed and ironed it before taking this picture to ensure no fraying. This is adult sized and the waistbag is 17 inches. The ties are approx. 40 inches long. Made from an original 1969 pattern.

Half Point Items

DPN cases Narrower ones are one inch wide, wider are 1,5 inches. Crocodiles, Debbie Mumm, dark blue with stars, floral and green with bees. Unlined.(1/2) point

Alien Invasion iPod cosy. Cocheted from sock weight 100% wool yarn.
