Are there any craft and/or knitting groups in Worcester or anyone who is interested in getting together for crafting?

Not too much, from what I can see--there's nothing that I can find [I'm rather new to the city..]. The local art store is meh and there are a couple general craft stores..

Not that I'm aware of...I've been here for 18 years (with a 2 year hiatus).
I usually get my crafting stuff from either e-bay or Joanne's in either Holden or Shrewsbury.
But...I'm always down for meeting and crafting if anyone is interested! Smiley

Hi,
I'm not aware of any craft or knitting groups in Worcester.  I'd love to see one get started though.  Seems like you either have to go to Boston or Providence for active groups but would love one closer to home.

If you're interested in getting together sometime for some sort of crafty venture just PM me.

There is a craft show next Sunday (June 1) in Worcester that I'll be set up at.  It's called Art in the Park and it's at Beaver Brook Park.

Hope to see you there!

I've been living in Boston for about a year now, but prior to that grew up and lived in Worcester.
I don't think I was ever aware of any crafting groups, but was definitely always interested.

I'll be splitting my time between Boston and Worcester this summer, and would very much love to get together with other crafters in my home town.
Let me know if anyone wants to plan something.
