I was working on a quilt for a long time family friend on the couch a few months ago. My roommate sat on the couch with a notebook and when she got up a bunch of the fabric for my quilt was gone. We've never really liked each other and I'm pretty sure that she threw it away to get back at me. I was in denial about my fabric missing for a while and hoped it would show back up but it hasn't. I was hoping one of you quilters would have some extra of the fabric I was missing that you would be willing to part with. I'd be willing to compensate you through a private swap or paypal or something.

Here are scans of the fabric:

They were all bought at Jo-Anns as fat quarters. Thank you for your help.

Sounds like it's time to throw the roommate away!!!

Have you checked the Jo-Ann's near you for more?  If you can't find it, I can check locally for you.

Good luck!

Lol trust me, I'm counting down the days until she moves out! And yeah I've checked the ones near here. I'm going on a road trip in a few days so I'm going to check the jo-anns I can find on my trip but they were bought I think in December and it seems Jo-anns changes them out pretty regularly. I managed to find more of 2 that I didn't scan in because that gives me all I need of those but I need at least 1 and probably wouldn't hurt to have 2 more of the others. I would definitely appreciate if you looked were you lived.

Thanks for the luck. I think I'm going to need it. Lol

One of the benefits of buying quilt shop fabric is the ability to find it (within a reasonable time) if you run short.  If you keep track of the manufacturer and designer, you can search multiple shops and online for it.  That's saved my project more than once. ;-)

I did check Jo-Ann's website, but their category display is trash.  I looked for greens and got greens and oranges.  Their sale fabric category listed a SPRINGFORM BAKING PAN!!!!

I've got at least 3-4 Jo-Ann stores near me, so I'll let you know if I find what you need.

Well, I did have some of the first purple you show but looking through my stash, it's gone.  I just remembered this morning that last week I sent out a swap package with purple and yellow fabric in it and I'm pretty sure that's where it went.  Sorry  Sad

I may have that first purple.......  it might take some digging to get to though.  I'll see if I can track it down tonight and let you know tomorrow.
