a good friend of mine's mom is battling a brain tumor and is having a benefit auction next Thursday. Since I can't be there, I'm crafting some things for the auction.

this is my teacup/saucer set. I made it to match some Hello Betty fabric that's going to be used for a tea wallet.  The teacup/saucer is vintage fiestaware (not sure how vintage because turquoise was made a long time ago and is still being made..I'm guessing 90s to early 2000s at best).

Since I still haven't bought a point-and-shoot camera or batteries for my good canon SLR, the photo quality is crappy...still. I'm terrible.  Oh well. The only photo that turned out with the right color is the one of just the teacup.

Adorable!  Cheesy  I love it! May I ask what kind of paint you used? Not long ago my mom and I decorated a quite a few cups for a party and they came out ok, but the paint was no where as smooth as yours.
