I did all of these for the Crammed Organisms (www.crammedorganism s.com) show in St. Louis.

"Shark Boat"

"Thinking of Sinking"

"Shark Boat Defeat"

"On Dry Land"

These are all ink, watercolor, and colored pencil. A couple of them are cut paper also.

Love!  They are so trippy.  I am intrigued with the beard tentacles.

These are AMAZING.  I love all of them.  Especially the ones of the bearded fellow.

The second one may just be my favorite piece of art I've seen on here ever : D

"Oh well we sometimes feel we're to blame in some way for what our gran's become. I mean she used to be happy here until she, she started on the crochet.
Now she can't do without it. Twenty balls of wool a day, sometimes. If she can't get the wool she gets violent. What can we do about it?"

Woah -  these are lovely! I think the first one is my personal favorite -- I love the texture on it, plus the 3-D effect.  I just read your previous post about how to incorporate the idea of 'plush' into your drawing.  I happen to think you solved that problem very well!

I think I mentioned in a previous post of yours (possibly "I Will Be Eaten By This Shark") that it was my favorite of yours...
I lied.
I LOVE THIS ONE. Your Beard Series is so freaking cool that I can't stand it! The bearded men are just too cute, and I love the imagination! You're so talented!
