Oh my goodness....
I was down in NYC visiting my friend's new place in the South Bronx, and I finally got a chance to visit Book-Off. Now I know I am behind the trend in my love of Japanese crafting books, but I really do love them. Book-Off is awesome!!!!!! I found oodles of books for $1 each and a new to me Handmade Zakka book for $6.
I love it, and can't wait to go back.
It's at 14 E 41st Street in Manhattan. They're open at 10am-8pm.

I just stumbled on that place last week when I was going to the photography exhibit at the NYPL. I got a few one dollar books to use for my collages/scrapbooks/visual/altered books. Definately lots of Japanese books, but also some other great finds if you spend a bit of time looking Grin

Book-Off has all types of books.  Japanese Manga (comic books), english books translated to japanese, etc.  It's a place that you can sell your old books and buy new and used ones.  They even sell CD's.

They often have sales and crafters may find tons of resources here.   Grin
