So I am a total noob in so many aspects of crafting. I have never had any real practice with a sewing machine until recently and so far this is the 4th thing I have made! I apparently also have a fetish with painting buttons. I did it again for this one!

There are some kinks I have to work out and I have to get used to stitching zippers on these things. However I am super proud of this!
Comments and suggestions more than welcome! Thanks for looking!!

how cute!!  tell me-- what kind of paint do you use on your buttons?  I've tried a couple different kinds and it always peels off...

thanks! I used basic acrylic paint but i gave the buttons a coat of modgepodge first, then paint, then modgepodge again. i have picked at them yet.. I hope it doesnt fall off! I made this as a gift to my mom for mothers day. I am going to slip a gift card in there or something.
