Hi everyone.  I'm still pretty new at knitting (my only other FO is my Conan doll http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=231195.0), but I just finished my second doll!

I'm a giant history nerd, so naturally, I thought to knit my favorite historical figure- the marquis de Lafayette!  I know, I know, nerddom. Cheesy  Anyway, here he is!

All his clothes come off so I can make several outfits for a complete fangirling experience. Cheesy

I used the basic doll pattern from the Knitted Icons book! I plan on doing a series of more of my favorite historical guys Smiley  More pics are on my blog, located in my signature, so as to not clog up craftster.

Thanks for looking!

my favorite historical figure

Definitely nerdy! (Which is a good thing, lol.)  Cheesy

Your doll is adorable!  Your knitting looks great, and his outfit is so cute (and, I'm assuming, historically accurate? Wink ).

This is awesome.  I've been wanting to knit Benjamin Franklin lately.  I'm a huge history nerd too Cheesy  Very impressive for your second knit doll!
