as promised, here are more pictures of our awesome package!
awesome spidey stained-glass type thing:

i actually found a post with something similar to these letters through my swap partner, and thought they were so cool...well guess what?  even cooler when they're covered in spiderman comics!

jackson's favorite..."spidey's getting a kiss...eww, it's gross."

more cool spidey stuff for the boys:

a gorgeous curtain for my niece, who is our little princess:

jackson rolling around in joy on his wonderfully soft new rug...seriously, the picture don't even begin to do it justice, you have to feel this thing.  no, really, reach out your hand and give it a rub...nice, isn't it? Wink

jackson hugging same rug:

and finally, jackson showing off the backside of the packaging for his spidey toothbrush. Huh

she also made matching spiderman shorts for the boys and shoes and a pacifier case for julian...so cute!  i didn't risk action shots though, because i want them clean to wear tomorrow (if it's warm enough) Cheesy

thank you kaymadben!  wonderful stuff and happy happy children!

Will swap for baby food jars (or other small jars with lids)

Ok, I totally suck at posting pictures in a timely manner!  I recieved ANOTHER package from atsuko TWO days ago, and I'm just now getting the pics up (sorry atsuko!!!).

Anyway, firstly I have to show off the fabulous jewelry that she sent me.  I'm normally not a big jewerly wearer, but my hubby says that I have to wear these two things a LOT because they make my hands look pretty!
This one is a chain maile bracelet, with TINY hematite beads trapped inside.  This is amazing.  I tried really hard to get a pic that shows the beads in there, but just believe me, it is awesome.  Please ignore the fact that this picture makes my arm look gigantic:

Next, this beauty!

My husband is sooooo impressed by this.  It is sterling silver wire and dyed pearls!  This is my absolute favorite color of green.  My SIL has already tried to steal it!  Here is a closeup of the pearls, so you can see the subtle changes in color from the dye.  It makes it so interesting to look at.  The color really has a lot of depth:

And now for some craziness!  atsuko sent my boys each a little catapult gun that flings tiny plastic flies!  They are obsessed with them.  That is the blue/red gun shaped things you'll see.  She also sent Alexander some pokemon figures (he squealed.  He's not a squealer...but he totally squealed.)  Fritz got a set of TMNT figures, and they are tiny enough for pocketing, but the arms and legs still move around.  They're awesome!  And Joshua got a "tube of dinos"!  There are about a million dinos in there.  They all live in his treasure box.  Which is now, obviously, a cave.  Here is a whole bunch of gorging on presents/posing for camera pictures:

Step off, I'm doin the hump.
