These two are little creatures I hand sewed. I think everyone will recognise pointy kitty as one of the free patterns from wee wonderfuls. The dog was made from a free pattern from Cath Kidston (if you google Cath Kidston Stanley dog pattern you should find it). Pointy Kitty took me ages and ages to make, compared to if I'd made it on a sewing machine, but it was quite fun. Little Boris was my first attempt at blanket stitch, so I was pretty happy with how well she turned out.

They're adorable - your post inspired me to hunt down the Kitty pattern to make one to cheer my mom up while she's in the hospital.  Thanks for sharing.
