So, this is my first topic on Crafster ever. And I must say, I'm excited.

See?  Cheesy

Mmkay, I'll start with the Tie Hat.
I just followed the tutorial on here. It's cute and everything, but sits on my head so strangely. Maybe it's not big enough, or the shape just isn't right for my round head. ;P
(Also, don't mind my funny faces in these pictures.)

I look like a wax doll!

Although you can't see them all, the ties are all fantastic! One of them has gorgeous lions on it.

Now for my geeky hats. Cheesy
About 2 weekends ago there was an Anime and Sci-Fi convention near by, and instead of dressing up, I decided to make hats. This was my first time, ever, making hats, and they came out fantastic.

The first is from the game, Pikmin! I chose a blue one, although they are apparently worthless. I actually never played the game, but they're so cute.
So many people were able to recognize what I was, and someone even "stopped to smell the flower(s)." ;P

The biggest problem I had was that part of it got kind of wrinkled. I just didn't measure correctly. (I actually didn't even measure part of it. Cheesy Just cut!)
If I re-did this hat, I would make it just a tad bit bigger. It was a little snug.

My second, and absolute favorite, hat is based off of Knitting Ninja's Chain Chomp design.
I present my Chain Chomp hat!

I made the chains out of pipe cleaners. Wink For this one, if I re-did it I would probably actually make it a smidge smaller (though I don't really need to), and make the teeth bigger and sturdier.

And this last hat I tried to make for my friend. Clearly it came out terribly small and I have to try again. It's based on a similar hat she bought at the convention for another friend.

I hope you had fun looking!

These are all freakin' adorable! I think my two favorites (I couldn't pick one) are the blue pikmin(?) hat with the flower, and the last one, the cat hat with ear flaps. So awesome!

Do you say 'yes' to a single desire? Oh, my friends, then you say 'yes' to all pain.
