Hey all.
I get most of my recipes (when I use them) from web site (love allrecipes.com).
Problem: I had all theses sheets of paper.
Solution: 3 ring binder/old photo album
and those plastic sleeves! Now my recipes are spill-proof, which is especially good as I can't make a glass of Diet Coke without spilling.
 I have a three ring binder, for decoration I've just stuck interesting articles/comic strips in the plasticy part. I did one for my cousin using an old photo album & decoupaged the outside with pictures from family dinners & cool food pics, then covered with clear contact paper.
 If you have index card recipes, you can even get plastic sleeves that have divisions for four (I think) of them.

I also like to make my own recipe cards of my fav recipes, cover them with plastic then put them on one of those binder rings

I have this too. Although I get most my recipes out of magazines and HATE writing or typing them over. So I cut them out and glue them onto paper and insert that into the binder. Viola! No more rewriting recipes.

Cool!  No really...the notebook idea.  I have a drawer that is literally jam-packed with old recipes/clippings (from various people & oh yes, the plethoria of magazines).  I just don't know why I never thought of it, though....I do the notebook thing with magazine clippings for craft projects & inspiring pictures (I have 3 big notebooks full!).  Thanks for the idea!

I do the same thing!! Yeah! I even bought tabs & have them separated into types of food(desserts, side dishes,etc) cuz I'm anal like that. Problem is I have to get a new one already, cuz I have too many recipies!!!
