A couple of months ago I was visiting my mom and she gave me a huge bag of stuff.  One of the items that was in the bag was this Afghan kit.

She said she gave it to my grandma a long time ago.  My grandma never did anything with it so she gave it back to my mom.  My mom figured that I would like it so she gave it to me rather than throwing it out.

I haven't started on it yet because I'm not sure what color yarn I want to use. (i'm not using the yarn it came with)

Sorry about the crooked scanned picture.

The part that got cut off the bottom was the contents of the kit.
100% Polyester Afghan lace canvas, 17 ozs. of 4 ply dupont acrylic yarn, 5" large eye weaving needle and simplified instructions.

The finished size including fringe is 45 X 65"

Lucky you! I have such a weak spot for old kits like this.

I was off to save the world....until I was distracted by something shiny.

So pretty! I love the colours on the picture. Any idea as to what combination of colour you will use? Are you hesitating between certain combinations?
