Hi everyone,

I just finished crocheting a great sweater/cardigan from www.stitchdiva.com called the Hourglass Jacket.  It's a fantastic pattern, and works up really quickly because the broomstick lace rows are nice and tall.

Close up of stitch detail:

I made a few modifications to the collar and buttonbands that were quite simple.

Thanks for looking!

You did a beautiful job on your sweater! Just lovely! I am so happy to see broomstick lace coming back, too.
THANKS for sharing!

How gorgeous! That lace pattern is beautiful.  I love the colour too.  I'm very jealous of this!

Very pretty job on the broomstick lace stitches--they're nice and even. And the fit is lovely.  Smiley

Did you use anything to keep your stitches even while crocheting? I made a broomstick lace scarf a while ago and used a size S crochet hook to keep everything evenly sized, and it worked well.

Wow, thanks everyone!

To keep the broomstick stitches even, I used a size 19 circular knitting needle.  It worked very well and was long enough to keep all the loops in place.
