My first post!  Of course it's of doilies.  Last summer I got really into making them based on patterns in a thread crochet booklet I picked up somewhere.  I've made a lot more, but these are the only ones I've got pictures of.  Too bad.. I wish I could share photos of the doily bookmarks!

The very first doily I ever crocheted- note matching nail polish:

This one was really small, like coaster-sized:

Incomplete colorful (blurry) doily:

...And the finished product, in my friend's home:

Road trips are the perfect crochet time:

Thanks for looking!  Cheesy

Great doilies - they can be my obsession at times too!  and I agree that road trips are a great time to work on them  Smiley

Very pretty. One of these days I'll branch out and use colors too, but right now I've only got the courage to do neutrals. I'm glad you posted these!

Thanks!  I love adding color to them- gives them a more modern feel.

the first thing I noticed was your matching nail polish, before I even read your comment!

then I noticed the lovely work and the different coloured border. You certainly have a talent. Are you crocheting with charts or written instructions?

Keep going, they are great!

Thank you!! Smiley Those were all done from written instructions, though I've done a few more recently sans patterns.
