I made this dress from scratch, using beige/brownish fabric with PIRATES, SHIPS, TREASURES, SKULLS & CROSSBONES all over, red tulle and red elastic lace - It has princess seams, a ruched chest, 2 red satin bows at the straps and a back zipper - I added a cute (removable) bow belt, but it's really hard to tell on the pictures!   Sad

Little top I made from scratch, using blue lycra with white ANCHORS all over, navy blue jersey and turquoise jersey and turquoise elastic trim for the fake "shrug" - It has a ruched chest and 2 tabs at the bottom with anchors buttons.

Matching skirt!   Cheesy
I added turquoise lace at the waistband.
This outfit was made for a fashion show I made several weeks ago.
Here's the lovely Marcelle modeling it :

Yep, she's really this pretty in real life!   Wink

Sorry for the butt picture!
I made these skinny/cigarette pants out of green/black ZEBRA lycra and black vinyl for the fake back pockets - I added khaki lace at the waistband and 2 green star-shaped buttons on the pockets    Smiley

I hope you like them!
Thanks for reading.

I really, REALLY need to steal that dress from you! I would, you know, borrow or buy it but that wouldn't be very piratey of me....
Anyway, I absolutely adore the map dress. Did you guess? Lol

The maps dress is lovely, and it looks fantastically well tailored. Would you mind sharing what method you used for  the bust ruching? I have such trouble with it, did you sew a straight line & gather it, or zigzags? Or elastic?

Ta!

Great stuff! I really like the pirate-y fabric.  Is that available at any of the local retailer's, or like a special order type thing? Thanks
