I recently bought some NYLON chiffon and decided to add a ruffle embellishment to an old Tee.  Here are the steps:

1.  I cut 1 yard of 54" NYLON chiffon in to 3" strips using a rotary cutter

2.  Next--I stitched/gathered down the center of the strips, using invisible thread and "butting" each strip end to end so the result was one long strip of ruffled chiffon

3.  Lastly--I stitched a double ruffle to an old pink tee--tada!!!

Be sure if you try this that you use NYLON chiffon--it doesn't fray!
Have a great week!
Happy Sewing!
