I know this seems like a silly question but my little girls is having a My Little Pony themed birthday and asked me to make her a dress. (Yay! Cheesy) I thought Id ask on here and maybe someone would remember seeing some there or something. I only ask because the nearest Joann's is over an hour away so I hate to waste a trip down there...not that I wouldnt find something to buy, but thats another story!  Tongue

It seems like I've seen the My Little Pony fabric there, but I wouldn't swear to it.  If I were you, I'd call and ask.  If you get someone that doesn't act like they really know for sure, then call again later and ask someone else.  There's nothing more frustrating than for someone to give you a "yes" answer without actually looking-- especially if you're driving an hour to get it.   Tongue  I think I may have seen the fabric at Wal-Mart too, but again, I'd call and ask.  Good luck with the fabric search.

I have bought it there but a long time ago -- absolutely call first and tell them about your hour drive so they will be more honest, hopefully AND you can go on thier website and shop for fabric also Wink

Just for Random Informations' Sake:

Walmart doesn't stock fabrics quite the same way as regular fabric stores, only the basics are treated that way (gingham, solids- stuff they always have). All the novelty prints, trendy stuff, holiday prints, etc. are ordered once in humongous quantities. That massive order is distributed through the stores & when it's gone it's gone. So chances are your store only got one bolt & it went fast if you miss something that you hear others have. Bolts of print fabrics are only 15 yards, which isn't really much when you think about it. If someone decides to do curtains or a bedspread- that's nearly the whole bolt.

I worked at Walmart for a very brief period in college, I learned that by talking to the ladies who worked in the craft dept.
