Hey all, just wanted to bump this topic because it's been almost a year since the last post.

Anyone have any new favorite thirft stores/consignement stores in the Baltimore area?  I find that the Goodwills in the city are really overpriced.   Sad  I wish I knew of more places to go in the city to browse around in on weekends.

I found a new one!!!!!

It's in Essex and it's called Value Village or something like that.  It's on the corner of Sparrows Point Road and...    Back River Neck Road.

Oh my goodness, it's such a good store.  They have 1/2 off Saturdays, where EVERYTHING in the whole entire store is half price.  Not that their prices are bad, anyway...  Sweaters generally run 2-3 bucks.  Not bad at all, eh?

First time I went, I bought 10 Sweaters (cardigans), 8 shirts, a pair of pants, some bowls, and other stuff for under $80!  Simply must check it out.

So I really would love to go out for a day of thrifting.  With people who do entire days of thrifting...  hitting all the yard sales, stores, etc.  Maybe I should rent a bus and we'll have a thrifster day.  That would be fun.

Thanks for bumping!!

It's late, and I've been wondering...  How I can stay awake so long and miss so much...

Ooohhhh.  Good tip.  I need to get out of the city more.  Value Villages are usually pretty good but that 1/2 on Saturdays is killer!
There's supposed to be some sort of flea market on the edge of Charles Village this Saturday 9-1pm at the corner of North Charles and University Parkway, by Hopkins.  I haven't heard much about it, but I'll probably check it out.
