So, I got a really cute shower curtain from Target for an ABC Party, and I turned it into a cute sun dress - I'll have pictures up soon in the party section.. I'll post a link.

Anyway, the shower curtain was more expensive than I had planned, and I'm trying to figure out stuff to do with it so that it doesn't go to waste.  I'm obviously going to make a summery bag out of part of it..

I was wondering if it would be too weird to make a swim shirt out of it.  I probably wouldn't wear it often.. probably just fishing and on the beach, when I want to wear something cute, but that can get wet.  I'd obviously sew it together this time, last night I used clear packing tape, but all in all it was surprisingly very comfortable.

Haha.. I might make it anyway just as an artistic piece.. just let me know what you think of it as an actual article of clothing! Smiley

Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our finger through the flames?
Why do we leave our hand on the stove,
although we know we're in for some pain?

I made a dress out of a fabric shower curtain and I looooooove it. I'd think a vinyl one might get too hot for anything close fitting, but it'd make a fantastic raincoat or poncho or big floppy hat I think. Or recover a chinese-style parasol maybe?

Oooh, a parasol would be fantastic. I really like that idea.
