So is it the exchange value or just the same number of pounds/dollars?

$5 is $5 no matter where you are.  Cheesy
otherwise it gets to confusing so if you choose a $5 package you would spend 5 pound(can't find the symbol) or $5 US or $5 AUS.

and that does NOT include postage most of us spend more posting the parcel than we do on what's in it. LOL.

I know I spent $5 on my swap items and $13 to post to the US lol.
still it is fun but $5 is way harder to spend than $10 dunno why just is.

I am thinking I will join but not sure yet I haven't missed a round yet but I have 1 swap to finish and time seems to run away from me at present

This swap - you have $5 or $10 (US dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, whatever your currency is) to spend on your partner - please spend every bit of it too - you will be required to send your partner your shopping list and costs!
Overseas particpants - you can spend either the $5 or $10 or the current conversion at time of closing - your choice.

That is copied and pasted from page 1.
I really try hard to match up people that are in the same country/area for this swap unless they would rather swap outside of their area especially since this one the postage can sometimes get to you.  It is normal for the postage to be more than the price of the swap things you used to make it with - which sadly is happening more and more.  Postage is a killer and it is just going up and up and up.....

Getting closer and closer to the big date!

Hi Everyone!

Just checking in...I can't wait for partner assignments!

Could someone explain wists to me?  I know it is supposed to make crafting for someone easier...what's the general idea behind it?

Wist is a site where you can collect basically a wishlist of things you see online.  You can add a button to your toolbar and click on it add *anything* you see to your wist.  That way, your partner can see some of the stuff you like and know what to make for you Smiley

Does this help? Smiley

Can't wait to get my partner, so I can start bargain hunting!

I'm in and waiting for my partner.  May be ahead of the game as I found a skein of yarn I got on sale and the price was still on it.  Sooooo I made something and depending if it is in the range of something my partner would like I may use it.  Still leaves lots of shopping to do.  Can't wait.
