::waves::  Hello!!  I know where you work!  I live in Ogden. I don't go down there very often, it's a drive for me and I have very little reason to be in that part of town.

Very cool to see someone else from my town on here.  Cheesy

:::waves back::: It is cool to see someone else from ILM on here! I was so surprised! Yeah!!! Oh, do you knit or crochet by chance? 'Cause if you're interested, I just found a group that meets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at Old Books on Front downtown. I work every other Tuesday night, but I'm there the others (except this coming Tues. 'cause I'm out of town!). Would love to see you there!

I can knit, but have put it on hold for the time being.  Sad  I know there is (was) a group that meets Wednesday nights at the yarn shop on Oleander too.  I haven't been in the shop for some time as I stopped knitting in favor of sewing.   It's strange to see another person from my lovely town.  Cheesy

My partner's apparently MIA, or possibly AWOL. I haven't heard from her once.  Sad It's still possible that my package is on its way, but it's getting kind of unlikely at this point. I hope she's just unable to get online for some reason. (I, for one, had a massive computer disaster last week, and exams are coming up, so I understand completely.)

I really like Peihan's shot with the pillars and the brown building. Very pretty!

I received from ruby_soho today! Check out these photos Smiley

This is a picture of mailboxes. They look just like the box I had when I lived in Washington (she lives there), so I giggled when I saw them. How I miss WA!

Next is a picture she titled "Junk". I think it's pretty cool Smiley

A tree with shoes in it (what's up with this tree, ruby_soho? Totally awesome)

Next, a shot of downtown:

This next photo is my favorite. I might just have to get this printed out and put in a frame for the wall:

And here is the frame!

Thanks a bunch! The photos are too cool! Smiley

I added all of the photos to the photobucket account. Go have a look!

That's an awesome tree, and a cool a cool perspective of it with the bright but cloudy horizon behind it.  It reminds me of when my husband was in the marine corps, you could find combat boots dangling from the trees outside of the barracks.  It was a tradition when you got out to throw yours up because you're done with them.  DH didn't do this, 1. because we lived off base when he was discharged and 2. he didn't want to throw away a couple hundred dollars worth of shoe!   Tongue  (marine corps does NOT pay for your uniforms)  Anyway, this is waay prettier than the ones scattered around base, I too would LOVE to know the story behind it!
