I fell in love with these little aliens after watching the first Doctor Who episode of the series and after doing a little searching discovered a wonderful person on Livejournal had created a crochet pattern for them.
Sadly, I understand, the pattern is no longer available due to some recent problems with people being reported for copyright violations.

But luckily this little guy was still completed thanks to me having already saved the pattern. I'm very proud of him because it's the first crochet project I've completed in a long time.

Cute! When I saw the thumbnail, I gleefully said "Adipose" -- okay, not out loud, but in my head.

 Shocked Shocked Shocked

This is so funny.  I just got home from the bf's house and logged in and was like "Ah!!!  It's that creepy cute critter from the Dr. Who ep. we just watched!" and I clicked it expecting it to be something totally differnent, just looking similar.  I had never seen Dr. Who before, either...  You did a fantastic job! He's totally adorable!

Funny, I was at a knitting group last night and someone mentioned they had crocheted one of these little guys and I immediately decided I had to make one too!

Yours is gorgeous, I love him, especially his hands and feet.  Nice job!

Hehe thanks, I'm especially proud of the hands because it took a few attempts before I managed to get the fingers right, I ended up slightly altering the pattern to get them to work right - I have a feeling I was just being slow and not entirely getting what the pattern was asking me to do, but in the end he ended up with his little fingers so it was all fine.

LOL My mother who doesn't watch the show has just attempted to steal mine because he's 'too cute'
