hey nataluna
yeah you have to be careful with what temp you use, but yes you can iron felt, even the 100% acrylic craft felt I used for this project.  I used "Therm O Web" brand HeatnBond UltraHold (because that's what they had at my local Joann's) and it only requires you to use the silk setting on your iron, which is pretty low. good luck with your sweater!

oh cool! see i thought that maybe all iron-ons worked the same, and it's not so.  good to know!
well, i am just going to cut out rectangular decorated parts of it and turn them into ornaments (or pincushions), i think.  so i won't need to iron any on those particular felt things.  BUT again, good to know for other items.
